And the Final Vis Com Phase Begins!

Last Wednesday, Jamie presented a lecture on Signs, going a bit more in depth on two different topics than we did in Tyler's class. Jamie explained the concepts of "anchor" and "relay" in terms of controlling the viewer's understanding of an image.

For our homework, we had to "exploit" these newly learned concepts in conjunction with our cultures and icons. Before we dove in to imagery, we had to mind map. I chose to make a long list of word associations to see where my mind went.

After mind mapping, we moved into imagery and text. I've selected a few of my favorite concepts.
