Newest Exhibit: Edgar Allan Poe
Today, we critiqued our "final" version for the Exhibition project. For my project, I tried to keep a direct view, but also allowing multiple meanings to form. The biggest "symbol" of the piece is the overwhelming darkness that takes over the frame.
The most difficult part of this project was the actual printing of the poster. The Output Center on campus had a lot of technical difficulties. The version I ended up printing looks awful on screen, but turned out nice on paper.
Overall, I had a lot of fun with this project. I enjoy history and conceptualizing, so it was a match made in heaven. I had a successful critique and my peers seemed to respond well to my image.
