The above images are my initial posters for the poster project. Overall, I received decent feedback from the class. In the posters with the candlelight, the mood was spot on. The class felt the mystery within the poster. However, some symbolism was lost - such as the symbolism in the bottle and the dark box. They understood that the box was dark and wanted to see inside - but the deeper symbolism didn't come across. The lighting on the quote was difficult to read.
For reshooting, I'm going to rearrange the composition a little bit and perhaps exclude some elements to bring back the focus to a few specific things.
